Concept for Life Maine Coon Adult in Ragout is a complete wet food for adult cats over 15 months, formulated for the Maine Coon breed and supplied in 85g single-serve pouches (12, 24 or 48 pack).

What's in it

The recipe is 60% chicken heart, meat, gizzards, liver and fat in broth, with maize starch, tapioca starch, 0.5% salmon oil, 0.1% green lipped mussel extract, 0.1% psyllium husks, 0.1% grape seed extract, 0.1% fructooligosaccharide, 0.09% chondroitin sulphate and 0.03% glucosamine. The manufacturer states there is no soya, no taste enhancers and no preservatives.

Additives per kg: vitamin D3 200 IU, zinc 25mg, manganese 1.4mg, copper 1.0mg, iodine 0.75mg, biotin 300mg, taurine 1500mg.

Analytical constituents

Protein 10.4%, fat 6.6%, fibre 0.5%, ash 2.4%, moisture 77%, omega-3 fats 0.2%, omega-6 fats 1.2%. Energy: 456 kJ / 109 kcal per 100g.

Feeding guide

Wet food only, per day: 3kg: 1.5 pouches; 4kg: 2; 5kg: 2.5; 6kg: 3; 7kg: 3; 8kg: 3.5; 9kg: 3.5. A mix with dry food is also given: for example 1 pouch per day plus 5-15g dry food for a 3kg cat, rising to 30-50g dry food for a 9kg cat. Adjust amounts to maintain ideal body weight, feed at room temperature, keep fresh water available and store in a cool place away from sunlight.

Good to know

It is chicken-based, sugar-free and GMO-free, made in Germany, and the pouch is easy to open. Large breeds put extra stress on joints, which is why the recipe includes glucosamine and chondroitin.
