Rocco Diet Care Renal is a meat‑based dietetic wet dog food that supports renal function. This great‑tasting food is a complete therapeutic wet dog food suitable for adult dogs with impaired kidney function. It is low in protein and phosphorus and made using only top‑quality, easy to digest animal proteins.

This recipe is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of dogs with acute or chronic kidney insufficiency. If your dog has kidney illness it is important to feed a low‑protein diet with reduced levels of sodium and phosphorus, as many of these ingredients can have a detrimental effect on kidney function. For this reason, this wet food contains only limited sources of top‑quality animal protein, all of which are very digestible and easy to digest. Beef and chicken offal provide valuable energy without overloading the kidneys and the sodium and phosphorus content has been deliberately reduced to further encourage kidney relief. Vital vitamins and nutrients round off this delicious, meaty wet dog food and provide your pet with a balanced, nutritional meal.

45.9% stock, 20% beef (heart, meat), 18% pumpkin, 11% chicken (heart, chicken fat), 3% cellulose 1% minerals, 0.1% salmon oil
Source of protein: beef, chicken

Additives per kg: Nutritional additives:
Vitamin A 3000 IU, vitamin D3 200 IU, vitamin E (as all-rac-alpha tocopheryl acetate) 20mg, biotin 300mcg, zinc (as zinc sulphate, monohydrate) 25mg, manganese (as manganese (II) sulphate, monohydrate) 1.4mg, copper (as copper (II) sulfate, pentahydrate) 1.25mg, iodine (as calcium iodate, anhydrous) 0.75mg
Rocco Diet Care Renal is a dietetic complete wet food for adult dogs.

Recommended feeding period: Feed initially for up to 6 months.

Please consult your vet before using this food or extending the feeding period. This is a complete dog food and should be fed according to the feeding guidelines, however feeding amounts should be adapted depending on your dog's level of activity, age or breed. The total daily feeding amount should be divided into 2 or more meals per day.

Serve the food at room temperature. Make sure your dog always has fresh drinking water available.
Contraindication: Not suitable for pregnant and lactating bitches, puppies, in case of hepatic insufficiency associated with a disturbance of bile secretion.

Renal Food that My Dog Actually Loves

13.5 year old cocker with stage 4 kidney failure and she had stopped eating the Hills dry and wet food, changed to Rocco, she absolutely loves it, I mix it in with extra veg too.

My Harris Finn

My precious 12 yr old German Shepherd Harris Finn was diagnosed KD stage 2. He absolutely loves his Rocco food. Tried both flavours, he eats both but definitely prefers the beef one. His levels have all dropped to high end normal/ stage 1. My boy is happy, I'm happy too. Live long and prosper my lovely old friend.

A renal diet my dog likes!

My dog was recently diagnosed with kidney disease after drinking excessively and going off her food. I’ve tried several diets to help keep her weight on and her protein down that she will actually eat, but was struggling to find something she liked. So far after a few weeks she is still really loving this food and has gained weight but her drinking is under control. Definitely worth a try for kidney management.
