Used to be good, but not anymore

Unfortunately I noticed a sharp decline in the quality of this product. They must have changed the type of clay. The first thing I noticed was the change in color. Then, the clumps started to break, and that's a non-negotiable to me (and my cats). Was a happy customer for about a year, but now I'm switching brands.

The best clumped litter

This is the best I’ve used, no mess, no grit all over the carpets.
Solid clumps, easy to gather up with scooper and the unused grit falls back in the tray.
No dust.
Well worth the money, not as expensive as other well known brands.

New Formula is Awful

This used to be a fantastic litter, nice fine pellets and minimal dustiness and clumped really well. However the last few bags have a different formulation that is gritty, dusty and does not hold clumps at all. It's a shame because this used to be an excellent litter for a very good price. Will not be buying again unless formulation changes back.

It used to be brilliant - they changed the packaging and the contents and now it is awful!

The new format is dreadful. The packaging uses much thicker plastic which makes it harder to open and seal close. And you REALLY need to seal it closed if there is any moisture in the air where you're using that packet because the contents are not the same as the original - the new formulation appears to be very hygroscopic (it attracts moisture) which means that the clumps, instead of being easily scoopable hard balls, are soft and crumbly and really messy to deal with. Won't buy again!
