The SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect is perfect for giving your pet more independence. It is the first pet door in the world that allows you to control it from wherever you are using your smartphone.

The SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect works with the Sure Petcare app using the Sure Petcare Hub (available separately or as part of a set), which sends data from the pet door directly to your phone. This means that you can control when your pet can come and go. You will be informed when your dog or cat has left the house and when it has come back in.

What’s more, the built‑in sensor detects your pet’s microchip number or the RFID collar that comes included in the set. This prevents intruders from wandering into your home uninvited! Once your pet has been registered, the flap will only open for saved microchips and will send statistics about your companion’s movements straight to your phone.

We always had the doors and windows open for our cats but then some strays kept coming in and eating their food and spraying everywhere. So we decided to get a cat flap. Needed to be one that could read microchips so it's selective about the cats coming in. Looked like petsure was the best brand. Thought about getting the cheaper flap but I'm really pleased I got this one. I love knowing of my girls are in or out. Plus I can give access to a pet sitter too. I fitted the flap in my upvc door,easy

Perfect replacement

The flap was easy to install in the door, and the hub simple to set up via the app, then all connections and pet profiles. The curfew times work well for our cats as they are still getting used to being allowed outside.
The cats were nervous of the release ‘click’ the first few times, but have quickly gotten used to it.
I cannot yet speak to the battery life of the flap (having installed four Duracell batteries).

I reluctantly shelled out for this product under the impression that I could set a schedule per cat. Can't do that. Then tried to set a schedule to keep cats out once out at night (to stop them bringing dead things home). Can't do that. I had to cut a massive hole in my door, install the cat flap and the app to discover all of the above so can't return it. Now I have a reminder every night to push a button on an app to lock the cats out. Could have done that manually for 10% of that price.

The hub arrived but no cat flap!

I am so glad I brought this for my two cats. This is an upgdrade to a smaller microchip cat flap so they are more comfortable through it. The app telling me which cat is in and out is a peice of mind as when we go away we leave the cats at home with someone coming to feed them. At least we both know that they are coming back and not gone missing.
