Smilla Veterinary Diet Gastro Chicken Kibble for Adult Cats

Smilla Veterinary Diet Gastrointestinal Chicken is a complete dietetic dry food for adult cats, made in Germany. It is used to alleviate intestinal absorption disorders and to compensate for inadequate digestion, using a recipe built on chicken and rice with a low fibre content. Sodium and potassium are increased to help compensate for losses via the faeces.

Suitable for adult cats. It contains no added sugar, soya or flavourings. Sizes are 1kg, 4kg and a 2 x 4kg economy pack. This is a veterinary diet: speak to your vet before feeding it, book a check-up at least every 6 months while it is in use, and get veterinary advice immediately if your cat's health worsens.

What's in it

Dried chicken protein (21%), rice (20%), dried potato, greaves, oils and fats (of which 10% poultry fat), dried rice protein (8%), minerals, hydrolysed protein, carrot, cellulose, chicory powder, yucca schidigera, dried yeast [extracted], psyllium husks. Easily-digestible ingredients: chicken, rice, poultry fat.

Daily serving per cat in grams, neutered and indoor cats / active cats: 2kg ideal weight 20 - 30g / 40g; 3kg 30 - 40g / 55g; 4kg 35 - 50g / 65g; 5kg 40 - 55g / 75g; 6kg 45 - 65g / 85g; 7kg 50 - 70g / 95g.

Recommended feeding period: to alleviate intestinal absorption disorders, up to 12 weeks; to compensate for insufficient digestion, initially up to 12 weeks; in chronic pancreatic insufficiency, for life. Quantities are guidelines, so adapt them to keep an optimum body weight. Provide fresh drinking water and store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
