Ingredients

Ingredients:
Meat and animal by-products, fish and fish by-products, grains, vegetable by-products, vegetable protein extracts, minerals, oils and fats, yeasts.

Nutritional additives per kg:
Vitamin D3 (70 IU), iron (2mg), iodine (0.27mg), copper (2.2mg), manganese (0.6mg), zinc (6mg).

Indications: dissolution of struvite stones, idiopathic cystitis, and prevention of struvite and calcium oxalate stones.

Not suitable for: cats with chronic kidney failure, metabolic acidosis, heart failure or hypertension; pregnant or lactating cats; kittens; or cats on urine-acidifying medication.

Feeding guide

Feed for 5 to 12 weeks or until stones have dissolved, then continue for a further 6 months to help prevent recurrence. During treatment, feed only this diet, as other foods can reduce its effectiveness. Always follow your vet's advice and provide fresh water.

Great!

My beloved cat has been diagnosed with cystitis and the vet recommended a specific diet. This product is actually very effective and he enjoys it, also no more upset stomach (diarrhoea) since we changed it from another brand.
Definitely recommend!

very disappointing for the price and it stinks like the cheapest brand you can buy

our cat unfortunately developed a stone hence a special diet. this is the only one that resembles the food she used to eat but for the price it is VERY POOR with a really CHEAP cat food smell and i feel really bad giving it to her. she will often walk away and i have to sprinkle a little bit of her old food on top or she wont eat it. her old food smelled like you could eat it but this stinks plus the shards are way too big and cats being lazy she spits it out and i have to cut it up DREADFUL!!

Keeping my Boy well

I am very happy this food is available to support the needs of my boy.
I do wish there were different flavours though.
I was told there used to be?
I tend to put a fortiflora in the food to change the flavour.

85g instead of 100g

Really unhappy with the new changed product. You now get less and is so watery with big lumps. Clearly not so easy for cats to digest and they just bring it up again.
I won’t be buying again.

Excellant food, my cat was diagnosed at Xmas with urinary problem (struvite crystals) and for his future health was told he must loose weight. So 2 microchip feeding bowels & water fountain purchased and also he had this food and biscuits, as finally found something he liked! He loved both and at last check up has lost 1.6 kg, thank you Royal Canin
