Royal Canin Veterinary Cat - Renal is a therapeutic veterinary diet for adult cats. It is used with veterinary advice and support. Seek your vet's guidance before and during feeding, and consult your vet regularly for check-ups.

Indications and contraindications

Indications: chronic renal insufficiency, urate and cystine urolithiasis. Contraindications: pancreatitis, pregnancy, lactation, hyperlipidaemia, and not for puppies.

What's in it

Maize meal, rice, animal fat, wheat gluten, vegetable fibres, maize gluten, soya protein isolate, maize, hydrolysed animal protein, lignocellulose, minerals, dried poultry protein, fish oil, soya oil, mono- and diglycerides, fructo-oligosaccharides and Indian rose extract. Additives per kg: vitamin A 22,000 IU, vitamin D3 800 IU, iron 45mg, iodine 4.5mg, copper 14mg, manganese 59mg, zinc 124mg, selenium 0.08mg.

Daily amounts depend on your cat's weight and condition. The full table (lean, normal and overweight cats from 2kg to 10kg) is shown in the Feeding guide section; for example a normal-weight 6kg cat receives 71g a day and an 8kg cat 87g. Water should be available at all times.
