Rocco Diet Care Hepatic is a meat‑based dietetic wet dog food that supports liver function in dogs with chronic liver failure. It provides a tasty meal with medium protein content and easy to digest carbs. The carefully composed recipe supports vital liver function by helping to reduce the load on the liver and support its regeneration. It can counteract nutrient deficiencies that are often associated with liver insufficiency.

This recipe is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of dogs with chronic liver insufficiency. The dietetic complete food also contains vitamins and minerals for a balanced diet, helping to support your dog's vital functions and immune system . 

Rocco Diet Care Hepatic - Chicken with Oat Flakes & Cottage Cheese is a dietetic complete wet food for adult dogs.

Ingredients:
49.9% broth, 36% chicken (liver, heart, neck, chicken fat), 8% oat flakes, 5% cottage cheese, 1% minerals, 0.1% salmon oil
Source of protein: chicken, cottage cheese

Additives per kg: Nutritional additives:
Vitamin D3 200 IU, vitamin E (as all-rac-alpha tocopheryl acetate) 20mg, biotin 300mcg, zinc (as zinc sulphate, monohydrate) 25mg, manganese (as manganese (II) sulphate, monohydrate) 1.4mg, copper (copper(II) sulphate pentahydrate) 1.0 mg, iodine (as calcium iodate, anhydrous) 0.75mg
Rocco Diet Care Hepatic - Chicken with Oat Flakes & Cottage Cheese is a dietetic complete wet food for adult dogs.

Recommended feeding period: initially for up to four months

Please consult your vet before using this food or extending the feeding period. This is a complete dog food and should be fed according to the feeding guidelines, however feeding amounts should be adapted depending on your dog's level of activity, age or breed. The total daily feeding amount should be divided into 2 or more meals per day.

Serve the food at room temperature. Make sure your dog always has fresh drinking water available.

Contraindication: Not suitable for pregnant and lactating bitches, puppies.

Great for those diagnosed with liver disease as an alternative

Not sure why there is reviews saying not good for dogs with liver disease as this is what it is for and infact I was recommended by my vet, its great as an alternative taste to the Royal Canin Hepatic dog food which my dog has been on for about 4 years. She loved the new taste. So I alternate.

Not for dogs with liver cancer

This can is not suitable for dogs with liver cancer. My dog felt unwell after eating this can because of her liver disease.
But for dogs with no issues, it is ok. Because other our dogs who ate it were fine.
