PURINA PRO PLAN Veterinary Diets Feline UR ST/OX - Urinary Ocean Fish is a dietetic complete dry food for adult cats, designed around the urinary tract.

How it is formulated

Magnesium is reduced, and uric acidifying ingredients help keep urine pH at a level that is not favourable for urinary stones. The manufacturer states it can help dissolve struvite stones and reduce struvite recurrence. Calorie content is adjusted to support weight control. It is a source of omega-3 fatty acids.

Ingredients

Rice, corn protein meal, wheat flour, dried poultry protein, soya protein, pea protein, corn, pork fat, dried salmon protein 4%, dried beet pulp, minerals, dried egg, digest, fish oil; urine acidifying substance phosphoric acid. Additives per kg include vitamin A 33,000 IU, vitamin D3 1,050 IU and vitamin E 700mg.

Protein 35%, fat 12%, ash 8%, fibre 1.5%, calcium 0.9%, phosphorus 0.9%, sodium 1.2%, potassium 0.7%, magnesium 0.08%, chloride 2.4%, sulphur 0.3%, taurine 1500mg/kg.

Feeding duration and amounts

Recommended for 5-12 weeks; up to 6 months to lower the risk of re-infection. Dry-only amounts: 2kg = 25g, 3kg = 35g, 5kg = 40g daily. Fresh water must always be available.
