PURINA PRO PLAN Veterinary Diets Feline NF Early Care is a complete dietetic kibble developed to support kidney function in the early stages of chronic renal insufficiency, for adult and senior cats.

Formulation

The recipe has reduced protein of high quality and a limited phosphorus content, which the manufacturer says can help slow the onset of renal insufficiency. It is described as having high acceptance, even among cats with illness-induced appetite loss, and can be fed as a daily diet.

Ingredients

Wheat meal, maize, rice, wheat gluten, soya meal, maize protein meal, pork fat, dried beet pulp, dried egg, minerals, pea pods, hydrolysed soya protein, fish oil, digest, yeast, xylose. Additives per kg include vitamin A 37,000 IU, vitamin D3 1200 IU, vitamin E 670 IU and taurine 1400mg.

Daily amounts

Dry feeding: 2kg = 30g, 3kg = 45g, 4kg = 60g, 5kg = 75g; mixed feeding rates are given on the pack.
