PURINA PRO PLAN Adult 1+ Hairball & Healthy Skin Rich in Salmon is a complete dry food for adult cats, with salmon as the main ingredient. It is formulated to limit excess shedding and reduce the formation of hairballs, and it is suited to cats with long hair.

High quality salmon 16.5% (including head, bone, meat), wheat, wheat gluten, corn protein meal, dried salmon protein, animal fats, dried plant fibre, corn, dried egg, dried beet pulp, corn grits, minerals, dried chicory root, digest, yeast.

Additives per kg: vitamin A 37,000 IU, vitamin D3 1200 IU, vitamin E 670 IU, vitamin C 140mg, iron 140mg, iodine 2.2mg, copper 15mg, manganese 53mg, zinc 130mg, selenium 0.15mg (iron as iron II sulphate monohydrate, iodine as calcium iodate anhydrous, copper as copper II sulphate pentahydrate, manganese as manganous sulphate monohydrate, zinc as zinc sulphate monohydrate, selenium as sodium selenite).

Analytical constituents

Protein 36%, fat 16%, fibre 5.5%, ash 7%, omega-3 fats 0.7%, omega-6 fats 2%.

Key points

Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids help keep skin healthy and coat glossy. The manufacturer states it can eliminate up to twice as much hair in the stool as regular cat food within 14 days (internal Purina research, 2001; four-week digestion study in 30 cats). It has no added colours or flavours.
