Plaqtiv+® Dental Wipes | Petfoodmart UK

Plaqtiv+® Dental Wipes are biodegradable, plastic free wipes made for dog dental care without a toothbrush, supplied as a pack of 60 wipes.

What's in it

The wipes use patented Xpersiv technology, described as scientifically supported, to bind the minerals that cause tartar formation. This helps prevent biofilm maturation and calculus build up. By capturing these minerals the technology can help disrupt the process, weakening the biofilm and softening existing calculus so it is easier to remove. This may also help daily oral care products such as chews, toothpastes and wipes work even more effectively.

Why use dental wipes

Dental plaque forms naturally every day. Left without regular attention it can mineralise into hard tartar, with gum sensitivity and bad breath following. For dogs that dislike dog dental sticks or brushing, a wipe is a practical, gentle option.

How to use

Each wipe is designed to wrap around your finger for easy, controlled use. Wipe the surface of the teeth and around the gum line to help mechanically remove plaque.
