Feliway® Classic Diffuser | Petfoodmart UK

Feliway Classic is a diffuser for cats that mimics natural facial pheromones. Cats deposit these scent marks on furniture when they feel safe, and the diffuser aims to create that sense of familiarity in the room where it is plugged in. It is sold as a starter set (diffuser and 48ml vial), a single 48ml refill vial, or a 3 x 48ml vials refill pack.

When people use it

• To help a cat feel safe and secure
• When a cat shows signs of stress
• During disruption to the cat's surroundings, such as moving home
• As a preventative measure against spray and scratch marking

How to set it up

Remove the vial cap, screw the diffuser onto the vial and tighten gently. Plug it into a socket in the room where your cat marks or likes to be, with the vial beneath the diffuser. Do not cover it with furniture or curtains, as this can block the release of pheromones. Leave it plugged in for at least 4 weeks; a 48ml vial lasts about 4 weeks in an area of approx. 70m².

If your cat marks while it is plugged in, do not punish it. For persistent marking, the Feliway Classic spray can be used alongside.

Ingredients

Diffuser with vial: 2% synthetic copy of F3 fraction of cat facial pheromones, with 100g isoparaffinic hydrocarbon.
