Felini Taurine is a 200g tin of taurine powder, a supplementary food for adult cats and kittens.
Taurine is an essential amino acid that cats cannot produce in sufficient amounts. The manufacturer explains that cat food often contains too little, particularly after high-temperature processing. If a cat is overfed taurine, it is simply expelled in the urine.
Taurine (2-aminoethanesulphonic acids, 98%) and minerals 2%, pH level 4.5-6.0. Protein 67.4%, ash 3.7%. The powder has a purity level of 99.44% and is free from fillers and anti-clumping agents.
An adult cat should receive 250mg per day mixed into its food, which is 1/2 scoop. Kittens up to one year get 1/4 scoop. The enclosed measuring spoon holds 700mg (level). Always mix with water because undissolved taurine can overexcite your pet. It can also be given in a limited amount in drinking water, with fresh water supplied daily.
Keep in a cool, dark, dry place; the tin is designed for this.
