Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Hypoallergenic - Kangaroo is a premium complete wet food for adult dogs that suffer from nutritional sensitivities. Food intolerances refer to all abnormal physiological reactions after consumption of a food or additive. There is a clear distinction between food allergies and food intolerances. Food allergies are an overreaction of the immune system to certain proteins, while food intolerances are not caused by the immune system. Both can lead to skin and digestive problems such as itching and diarrhoea. An elimination diet helps determine any intolerance; the prerequisite is that the food only contains a selected protein and carbohydrate source. Skin issues may also result from flea saliva or environmental factors. A diet rich in high-quality fatty acids supports healthy skin. This premium therapeutic food has been specifically developed to meet the nutritional needs of dogs that suffer from food intolerance and dermatosis. To reduce the possibility of raw ingredient and nutrient intolerance, the only source of protein in this food is kangaroo, and parsnips are the sole carbohydrate source. Excluding commonly used animal proteins and carbohydrates helps lessen the risk of an adverse reaction. This food is enriched with thistle oil and linseed oil, both high in omega‑3 fatty acids.   • Please seek your vet's advice before using this food or extending the feeding period.
  • When feeding your dog with a veterinary diet you should consult your vet regularly for check‑ups.

Ingredients:
65% meat and animal by-products (100% kangaroo), vegetables (3% parsnips), 1% minerals, oils & fats (0.6% thistle oil, 0.3% linseed oil)
For technical reasons, cooking water is added to the recipe.

Recommended feeding period:

  • Feed up to 2 months to support skin function in dermatosis and excess hair loss

Be careful of bones

I first thought this was a good food until my dog nearly choked on a bone so dangerous just glad my dog is ok not happy ive had to change his food because of this .

The best hypoallergenic food for my dog

My dog not only loves this, but his allergies are almost nonexistent with this. With supermarket dog food, he would always scratch himself, sometimes at night too, and some had an effect on his appearance. This works like medicine. Please never discontinue this. I need it, my dog needs it.
