Concept for Life Light Adult is a complete dry food for adult cats, designed for animals aged 1 year and over that are overweight or prone to gaining weight. Its energy-reduced formula has an adapted fat content, highly digestible proteins and added L-carnitine.

What the formula offers

The manufacturer states that energy intake can be reduced by 15% compared with Concept for Life All Cats when it is fed as an exclusive diet. Selected dietary fibre and plant fibre from psyllium and lignocellulose can provide a longer feeling of satiety. The protein content is 38%, which together with L-carnitine can help to promote maintenance of functional muscle mass.

Other points listed: glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate with vitamin C; an anti-hairball function; DL-methionine, which can help reduce urinary pH; and the Stay-Clean complex with highly soluble vitamin C for dental care. Rice is the carbohydrate source, and the recipe is free from wheat and soya.
