The Catit PIXI Smart Automatic Feeder is a programmable dry food dispenser for cats and dogs. It is operated through a free app and connects over integrated WiFi.

Programming

Up to twelve meals can be scheduled each day, with the portion set separately for each. The timer is scheduled through the app, which also shows a real-time overview and sends smartphone notifications when food needs refilling or blockages occur.

Food storage

The reservoir holds up to 1.2kg of dry food and accepts kibble up to 9mm. The manufacturer gives a food supply of approximately 10-15 days on an average specification per adult cat. An air barrier helps keep the food crunchy, and a dehumidification pad guards against mould; it should be replaced every 30 days.

Feeding tray

Kibble drops into a removable stainless steel insert, which is dishwasher safe. The removable bowl holder can serve as a second bowl while the steel tray is being cleaned. A manual portion can be dispensed with the nose button.
