Catit PIXI Filters are replacement filters for the Catit Pixi water fountain, supplied as a pack of 6.

Filter construction

• Filter wadding fabric filters dirt particles out of the water.
• Activated carbon removes impurities and odours.
• Ion exchange resin helps to soften the tap water.

Compatible fountain

The fountain has a triple action filter, three flow settings (gentle flow, calm streams or more powerful bubbles), a quiet, energy efficient pump and a sensor that shuts it off automatically when the water level is too low.

Replacing the filter

Remove the filter from the bottom part and rinse it, but do not wash it with soap. Replace every three to four weeks, or sooner if impurities, food residue or hair build up. Use in a multi-pet home or with harder water may call for more frequent replacement; see the operating instructions.

Cleaning the fountain and pump

Wash and rinse the fountain weekly with a soft sponge and mild detergent, free of chemicals or abrasives, and rinse carefully. If you suspect the pump is dirty, remove the impeller cover and impeller and clean the shaft. Keep the pump submerged; it must not run dry.
