Burgess Excel Rat Nuggets are a complementary feed for rats, formulated around their nutritional needs and supplied as a pelleted nugget with a seeds flavour.
Cereals lead the recipe, with rice, wholegrain wheat at 20% and wholegrain maize, alongside soya bean meal, beet pulp, poultry meal and linseed at 1%. Short chain fructo-oligosaccharides at 0.25% act as a prebiotic. Added vitamins are A, D3 and E, together with trace elements. The full list of ingredients and additives appears in the Ingredients section.
The nuggets combine balanced protein with vitamin E as an antioxidant, and the formula is intended to support skin and coat health.
A small rat of around 250g is given 15g per day, and a large rat of around 400g is given 25g per day. Treat these figures as guidelines only, because individual needs vary. Fresh drinking water should always be available.
1.5kg, or the Economy Pack of 2 x 1.5kg.
Can it be the only food? No, it is a complementary feed.
