Burgess Excel Guinea Pig Nuggets with Blackcurrant & Oregano are fruit and plant-flavour pellets, with grain, for adult guinea pigs. They are sold as a complementary feed.
Grass meal, wholegrain wheat and dried lucerne lead the ingredients, followed by dried blackcurrant 0.1% and dried oregano 0.06%, plus prebiotic FOS 0.25%. Contains genetically modified soya. Vitamin C is included among the nutritional additives; the full additive list is on the pack.
Protein 17%, fat 4%, fibre 15%, ash 7.5%, calcium 0.8%, phosphorus 0.5%.
Daily serving: 45g for a small guinea pig, 60g for a large one (weights around 1kg). Provide hay and fresh drinking water at all times; hay and fresh grass also help wear down continually growing teeth.
