Burgess Excel Chinchilla Nuggets with Mint are a complementary feed for chinchillas, supplied as a blended nugget with an added mint flavour. Because every piece has the same recipe, your chinchilla gets an even mix with each mouthful.
The base is wholegrain wheat, dried lucerne and oat feed, with dried mint making up 1% of the recipe. Short chain fructo-oligosaccharides are included as a prebiotic. The recipe also contains vitamins A, D3, E and C, plus trace elements, and is produced from genetically modified soya. The full ingredient list and additives are shown in the Ingredients section.
Protein 17%, fat 4%, fibre 16.5%, ash 6.5%, calcium 0.73%, phosphorus 0.49%, sodium 0.19%, dietary fibre 31%.
The nuggets are formulated to support skin and coat condition. Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant for the immune system, while fibre and prebiotics are there for digestive health.
A small chinchilla of around 500g needs 12g a day, and a large one of around 800g needs 20g a day. Keep fresh drinking water available at all times.
