Chronic renal insufficiency is a progressive disease that cannot be stopped, but its course can certainly be influenced by an adapted diet. animonda Integra Protect Renal 6 x 100g was developed specifically for this purpose. This is a dietary wet food, the composition of which is adapted to support kidney function in cats.

The diet food is characterised by a reduced content of animal protein, which is important to reduce the amount of protein breakdown products to be excreted and thus relieve the kidneys. At the same time, the phosphorus content is reduced, which can help to support normal kidney function. animonda Integra Protect Renal is grain‑free and well tolerated. The diet cat food is also well accepted by many fussy cats thanks to its delicate taste.

The Mix contains the following flavour varieties:

I bought this food for my 15 year old kitty with kidney disease. She seemed initially interested, but after a couple days no longer wanted to eat it. I tried Mixed pack as well as Chicken and Beef flavours. Unfortunately she didn't like any of them.

Pleasantly surprised that my cat likes this! We've only just started on the box but given how much food we've wasted over the years when I've tried anything else, I thought this was another expensive waste. She got stuck in straight away and nearly finished it all in one go.

Generally the. Insistence is nice and wet and doesn’t smell too bad, but most importantly my very elderly 21 year old cat loves it and she is very fussy and only eats pate, however… as per other reviews there are often these really hard lumps in there sometimes very small and sometimes huge which I have to remove.
Also recently we ran out of stock and had to try a different brand, beapher I tried and she liked it as well although it’s a lot drier than integra,
