The natural, digestible recipe of Almo Nature Adult Holistic Maintenance - Chicken & Rice contains a mixture of grains, rice, vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients. FOS and MOS encourage a healthy, balanced gut flora, while biotin supports healthy skin and glossy, soft fur. Almo Nature Holistic is free from artificial additives such as preservatives, colours and flavours.

Pin head sized pieces of kibble far too small

Awful .. the worst food I’ve ever ordered for my cats , total waste .. the kibble is teeny tiny pieces that the cats have decided aren’t worth bothering with .. they struggle to pick the teeny bits up .. looks a bit like left overs from when cats have eaten and crunched larger kibble .. at first I though maybe I’d got an end of production batch with the scrapings from the production line!! Nothing for cat to crunch , more likely to inhale it!

Perfect food for fussy cats

I had been feeding my 2 fussy cats meowing heads as it's also a great food but pricey. Found this 12kg for £36.99 so tried a small bag first and it's gone down a treat!! No reaction from my cat who suffers from allergies and great meat content.
My only issue is when buying such a large bag, would be for them to make it resealable. Most bags of dry food are so I've had to go source a large storage container to decant it into.

Changed formula

I've ordered this product for many years now but when I opened the latest bag the food had changed from the familiar light-brown hoops to a smaller, darker pellet that smells completely different. The packaging still looks identical, so initially I feared it was a rogue batch. After contacting Almo Nature, they confirmed they had changed the formula of their holistic dry food but hadn't gotten round to changing the packaging yet. While they claim this is a much-improved formula - which it might very well be - my cats turn their noses up at it. I like Almo Nature as a brand and will keep buying their wet food but I'm afraid I'll have to find a new staple dry food for my cats now.

Great for sensitive cats

I changed to Almo because it is a more natural product. This spring for the first time my 4 year old cat has not had any problem with allergies. She normally scratches her neck sore right through the pollen season. This year she there has been no sign of a problem.
