Advance Veterinary Diets Weight Balance Feline is a complete dietetic dry food for adult cats, intended for weight loss and to support fat metabolism in cats with hyperlipidemia. It has reduced fat and energy content.
The main protein sources are maize protein, dehydrated poultry protein (including 10% dehydrated turkey protein) and dehydrated pork protein, with pea fibre, whole barley (4%), beet pulp (2%) and fish oil. L-carnitine is added at 500mg per kg.
Crude protein 40%, fat 9%, fibre 10%, ash 7%, omega-6 fats 1.7%.
For a 4kg cat: 46-51g a day for maintenance, 59g for weight loss, 74g for hyperlipidemia. For a 6kg cat: 54-60g, 69g and 97g. For a 9kg cat: 64-71g, 81g and 128g. Overweight cats by 20%, or cats with low activity, should receive less.
Consult your vet before feeding, and take your pet for a check-up at least every 6 months. If your pet's health worsens, seek veterinary advice immediately.
