The back length (A1) is measured from the base of the neck to the end of the body.
The back length (A1) + the collar length (B) is the total length of the coat.
The back length (A2) is measured from the base of the neck to the tail.
The neck circumference (C) is measured at the base of the neck.
The chest circumference (D) is measured directly behind the front legs.
The maximum coat width (E) is measured downwards from the middle of the back to just above the hind leg and then doubled.
The total sideways length (F) is measured along the side from the front of the chest to the end of the body.
Note on sizing: Please be sure to measure your dog’s back length from the base of the neck above the withers to the base of the tail. Refer to the image above. The model used for the image is a Parson Russell Terrier wearing a size S. The pictured Golden Retriever wears a size L and the Poodle wears a size XL.
