Does what it’s supposed to.

We placed the gate at the bottom step of the staircase. The dog can't get up, but the cat can. So it's perfect. Initially, it was also placed between the door frames, and thanks to the adjustable width, this was no problem! Easy to assemble.

Not a permanent solution

Pulling apart and pushing together is tedious; the wooden slats of one part run in the groove of the other part at the top and bottom and get stuck. Looks good, but it's very low.
