Place the pad where your puppy feels most comfortable, but keep it away from food or water. Consistency is key—keep the same spot so your pet doesn’t get confused.
Guide your puppy onto the pad; if it doesn’t relieve itself immediately, bring it back to the training pad until success. After meals or drinks, lead them directly to the pad and watch for signs of restlessness. A simple command linked to toileting helps reinforce the routine.
Praise generously when they use the pad, and correct gently if an accident occurs. Clean promptly to eliminate lingering smells. Over a few weeks, you can gradually move the pad closer to the door and eventually outside once your puppy is fully house‑trained. Replace each pad daily for one dog or puppy.
