Ingredients:
Chicken (40%, including stomach, liver, heart, muscle meat, egg), cooked rice, liver, lung, stomach, cellulose, minerals, linseed oil, beetroot [dried].
Carbohydrate source: Cooked rice (10%).
Source of short and medium-chain fatty acids: Linseed oil (0.2%).

Additives per kg
Nutritional additives:
Vitamin D3 (200 IU), vitamin E (20mg), zinc (5mg), iodine (0.2mg), manganese (2mg), L-carnitine (100mg), taurine (500mg).
Feeding guidelines:

Kattovit Diabetes (Blood Sugar) is a complete dietetic food for cats.

Cat's weight: 3kg - approx. 245g per day, 5kg - 345g per day.
Recommended duration: For blood sugar regulation - up to 6 months.
For weightloss: Until target weight achieved.

It is recommended to consult your vet prior to feeding this food to your pet for a considerable duration.

Daily food requirements depend on age, level of activity and breed.

Plenty of water should always be made available.

17% carbs...so too high for a diabetic cat food!

Using the Balance IT calculator, the carbs on this is 17.27% - far too much for a diabetic cat.
Diabetic cats carbs should be kept below 10%. Most supermarket jelly foods are under 10% - you don't need 'special' diabetic food ! Low carb food & home test the blood glucose of your cat yourself.

Tried this in place of Integra Protect and my cat struggled to eat the pate consistency. within 3 days she was sickly and has very loose bowels. Had to place an order for Integra asap. disappointed
