The Catit PIXI Pink Drinking Fountain is a great eye‑catcher thanks to its cute design with little feet and whiskers and its beautiful pink colouring. It gets your cat's drinking water moving and encourages your feline to take in water – perfect for cats that don't like still water from the bowl.
The cat fountain is equipped with a triple‑action filter that removes dirt particles and odours from the water and softens tap water. There are three water flow settings to choose from – gentle flow, calm water streams or more powerful bubbles. The pump is pleasantly quiet and energy efficient. It is equipped with a sensor that triggers an automatic shut‑off when the water level is too low.

Cleaning the fountain:
Wash and rinse the drinking fountain once a week with a soft sponge and mild detergent without chemicals or abrasives. Be sure to rinse carefully so that no soap residue remains.
Cleaning the filter:
Remove the filter from the bottom part and rinse it. Do not wash the filter with soap. If the filter contains impurities or other foreign matter, replace it. (Replacement filters are sold separately.) Replace the filter every three to four weeks or as soon as signs of saturation with foreign matter (impurities, food residue, hair, etc.) become apparent. More frequent replacement may be necessary depending on the home environment or water quality, as well as when used by multiple animals. Please refer to the operating instructions for this.
Cleaning the pump:
If you suspect the pump is dirty, open the pump and remove the impeller cover and impeller. Remove any dirt from the impeller and clean the impeller shaft with diligent water. Be careful when handling the impeller. If the pump causes noise, clean the pump as described above and fill the drinking water reservoir with plenty of water so that the pump is completely submerged. The pump must not run dry!
