Feeding recommendation:
Almo Nature HFC is a supplementary wet food for cats. An adult cat (approx. 4kg) requires 110g of wet food and 35g of dry food per day.

Please note that these are guidelines only. Actual feeding amounts depend on your pet's age, activity levels, the weather and other circumstances. Monitor your pet's weight and adjust feeding amounts as required.

Fresh water should be provided at all times.

Serve at room temperature. Store in a cool and dry place.

Cats are strict carnivores and their natural preys are mice, small rodents and birds, which have a moisture content of 70-80%. Since this corresponds to most of the fluids required for survival, cats lack the instinct to drink water. The same applies to domestic cats who risk not taking in an adequate quantity of water if they are only fed on dry food. Hence the recommendation to always provide wet food and the essential bowl of water along with dry food.
A diet that suits its nature requires ROTATION.
Almo Nature has found that no diet is really complete if it lacks rotation of all nutritional sources. Cats should be fed daily with:

  • 60% (volume) of wet food
  • 40% of dry food

rotating all types of white meat, red meat (a source of iron) and fish (rich in fatty acids) to guarantee the intake of all necessary nutrients.

My cat loves this food but there’s rice grain in it which he can’t digest and vomits up

My cat loves the taste but unfortunately some of the tins appear to have rice or some kind of white bits in that he cannot digest which he then vomits up.

I have about 60 tins now I don’t know what to do with 😩

Our two cats love these tins. They share one at lunch time. They are young active cats but they like different food, one prefers wet the other dry etc . But they like different share a liking for these tins and lick the bowl clean.

These cans are great, they smell as good as human food, you can actually see the ingredients in it, real shredded fish and meat. My cat is not a fun of jelly, she loves the natural ones, moist and juicy

My cat loves it

My cat is 12 years old. Since early age she would eat only Almo nature; her preferred choice.
Though she will not eat all varieties her preferred choice Atlantic Tuna and Pacific tuna. She refused any supermarket food.
After so many years her fluffy fur is shiny, and there have never been an issue health wise.

A solid no from kitty

I got kitty the seafood mix as he loves fishy food, but this is the first food my cat has refused to even try - not even a lick!

I offered him the can to sniff as I always do and he walked away. I offered him some on a spoon to try and he couldn't get away fast enough.

The food is jam packed in the can and doesn't smell or look very appealing - kind of greyish. It's so solid in the can you kind of have to cut it with a knife.

Due to kitty's reaction I won't be trying him on other flavours.
